The canonization of the two visionaries of Fatima

by Luciano Mediolani

From the time of creation to the present day, Isaiah's phrase "The ways of God are different from those of men" comes true with a chronometric method. And this also happened in Fatima: God invests the fragile shoulders of three children with a message of universal value. They were illiterate children, poor but full of wisdom. For this reason God has invested them with the task of ambassadors for all believers in Christ.

Lucia, Francesco and Giacinta did not attend a specialization in diplomatic relations, but God, before the apparitions of the Mother of Jesus, sent an angel to teach the alphabet of the language of God. An alphabet that communicated a language of the heart: prayer . Prayer became the grammar with which the three shepherds listened and spoke the language of God, leaving time with the task of making even the "secrets" clear.

The "secret of Fatima" is a rapid photograph with a symbolic language that is difficult to decipher. It is a quick vision of the «Church of the martyrs of the past century. No great mystery is revealed; the veil of the future is not torn."

Pope Francis in Fatima: a meeting reserved for the sick

by Angelo Forti

At the end of the Mass, separated due to possible inclemency of the weather, Pope Francis wished to have a special meeting with the sick and before giving them the Eucharistic blessing, the Pope addressed the sick directly, repeating the question that Mary had asked to Jacinta and Francesco, who shortly before, during the Holy Mass, had been proclaimed saints, therefore imitable models of holiness: «Do you want to offer yourselves to God?».
