The faces of our deceased are always present in our homes; their photographs remind us that, if they have left us from this visible world, they are not far from us and follow us. We continue to address them as brothers who can obtain help and protection from God.
The desire to maintain some relationship with the deceased who were dear to our heart becomes acute the stronger the bond that united us.

The theme of Confirmation godfathers and godmothers is increasingly being felt in parishes. The Code of Canon Law states: "The confirmand is assisted as far as possible by the godfather, whose task is to ensure that the confirmand behaves as a true witness of Christ and faithfully fulfills the obligations inherent to the same sacrament".
