During the Holy Mass, by reciting the "Creed", we affirm that the Only Begotten Son of God is "begotten, not created" by the Father. What does it mean?

The expression “begotten and not created” was inserted into the Apostolic Creed at the Council of Nicaea in 325, and expressly concerns Jesus. “Begotten and not created, of the same substance as the Father” refers to the heresy of Arius, a priest of that era, which maintained that the Word, also called Son, the second Person of the SS. Trinity, were not God, but the first creature of God. If this were so, Jesus would not be God made flesh and his redemption would not have an infinite value, because no creature, however great, could repair the rift between man and God, created by original sin.

Would we have been immortal if there had not been the disobedience of Adam and Eve and would we have always lived in full communion with God and without the prospect of death?

A child adopted by a family enters the home and shares all the possessions, but above all he is loved like a child conceived in that mother's womb. This is how it was for the human race: the words of the book of Genesis are clear. The second and third chapters are full of the tenderness of God, who makes man cohabit with him and visits him in the evening breeze, that is, in the intimacy of the heart. Everyone can give their own answer to the initial question, but it is more important to stick to the facts, as they happened: original sin occurred, with all its consequences for the human race.
