To the loyal listeners of Radio Mater, a cordial greeting and welcome to pray in this hour of spirituality in the company of Saint Joseph, in a climate of regaining freedom which makes us citizens free to walk and to be able to greet the friends of person.
Dear and esteemed listeners in connection with the Radio Mater stations, a cordial greeting animated and illuminated by a lot of light of hope, particularly in this difficult moment. We are torn apart by a flurry of people who leave their lives in an atmosphere of solitude. We find ourselves in this climate of prayer like flowers numbed by the cold waiting for a little warmth to warm our hearts with hope so as not to be meek and dismayed spectators in the face of this murderous virus that mows down human existences with implacable determination .
Welcome to our loyal listeners of Radio Mater.
This evening we begin our usual meeting of prayer and cordial communion and solidarity by imagining ourselves in Jerusalem around the pool of Bethesda. This miraculous pool is located near the temple, the place par excellence of prayer and of the concrete presence of God in the Ark of the Covenant.
This evening our eyes imagine the presence of thousands and thousands of people infected with coronavirus. We have them in our hearts and we want to bring them before Jesus to confess our impotence and to ask Jesus to help us open a passage, an exodus to get out of the quicksand that prevents us from walking, from working, from leading a normal life .
Dear friends and brothers, a cordial welcome to all of you.
Every moment of the liturgy always begins with the greeting, using these words: "The Lord be with you".
Precisely at the beginning of this period of Lent, it seems to me that it could be the most appropriate greeting: the ashes on the head, the greater time dedicated to prayer have an effect on our spirit to the extent to which we leave space for the presence of God, then truly I wish you all the warmest wishes that "the Lord be with us all", dear listeners and beloved listeners of Radio Mater.
Dear Saint Joseph,
At the beginning of this month of February we came to look for you in Jerusalem. I knew that you would go to the temple to express your gratitude to the Father for your singular fatherhood and the full motherhood of Mary, your wife and to give your firstborn son to divine goodness.
Greetings to everyone who is listening and who wishes to participate in our broadcast to share this moment of privileged relationship which brings to the surface the noble feelings of our lives.
This monthly event is entitled "Hour of spirituality in the company of Saint Joseph".
A very cordial welcome to you on this first Wednesday of October in which the liturgy of the Church celebrates the feast of the guardian angels. We want to invoke the help of our guardian angels with the prayer of today's liturgy: O God, who in your mysterious providence sends your angels to guard and protect us, ensure that on the journey of life we are always supported by their help to be united with them in eternal glory in the company of Saint Joseph and his wife and our mother.
At the beginning of this new pastoral year we invoke upon ourselves and upon all people who need light and human warmth, the light of the Holy Spirit who fertilized Mary's womb and called Saint Joseph to share the adventure of God in wanting to become man to redeem men.
As always, it is a joy to share with our loyal listeners noble thoughts of communion between heaven and our earthly life which is reflected in our daily way of life which should be a perennial Eucharist as a festive echo of our rest which however it makes bread to share in brotherhood even in these months in which we live with greater relaxation, during the holidays we see people who are usually far away; grandparents can experience a daily relationship with their grandchildren. July and August are months filled with an extra dose of joy and a renewed desire to live.
Listen now!A cordial welcome to our monthly appointment, for a prayer, a reflection, a prolonged time of contemplation in the light of the example of Saint Joseph, we want to begin by preparing our soul in an atmosphere of quiet prayer invoking the light. «Holy Spirit, Light that emanates from the Father, source of goodness, at the beginning of this meeting of ours arise before our eyes as a divine light that pours the light of your love into our soul.
As always, welcome to all those who are tuned in to Radio Mater on this May 1st in which Labor Day is celebrated, as well as Saint Joseph the Worker and also the beginning of the month of May dedicated to the veneration of the wife of Saint Joseph , Mary of Nazareth.
Today people are celebrating work, but looking at the current situation, not only in Italy, one might say that there is little to celebrate, particularly for the most vulnerable people and among these people with disabilities and also workers precarious.
A cordial welcome to our monthly appointment in the company of Saint Joseph.
It is an appointment full of affection, esteem and listening to the harmony of sounds that only the soul in love and rich in faith can experience. This evening we want to speak "heart to heart" with Saint Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus, in such a challenging circumstance for the listeners who follow the rite of the Roman liturgy as the beginning of Lent.
Welcome to all the listeners of Radio Mater, tune in to spend an hour in the company of Saint Joseph to fall more and more in love with his spirituality which linked him emotionally to that important Son that God had entrusted to him to guard. and make him grow in age, grace and wisdom.
Starting this broadcast I was reminded of the beginning of the 3rd chapter of the book of Ecclesiastes, where we are reminded that everything in life has its moment. In fact, Qoheleth says: «There is a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to cry and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance ».
It is always pleasant to meet with Radio Mater listeners, especially at the beginning of the year to exchange good wishes and invoke, through the intercession of Mary and Saint Joseph, abundant blessings on our future.
We closed 2018 with solemn thanksgiving with the singing or recitation of the Te Deum, in which we expressed our gratitude for a year of life, woven with fragile and luminous webs that have marked the steps of our life.
A joyful and welcome greeting to everyone in this ideal radio assembly of ours to weave threads of joyful communion of faith and feelings in being next to Joseph and listening like a mysterious echo to the noble feelings and also the discomfort of a young man in love who hears himself narrated from a mysterious messenger the future events of his life.
In these four weeks (for the Ambrosians it is 6 weeks) the Holy Spirit prepares our soul to welcome Jesus who was born in Bethlehem.
