are of interest: it is the heart that makes the eyes attentive. When the heart has no interest, nothing is seen, nothing is recognized; but those who have an interest in something see the minimal possibilities of intervening and take advantage of it. This "heart that makes the eyes attentive" does not have a narrow perimeter, limited to our personal sphere, but through baptism our life has the breath of the world and has made us collaborators of God's dreams for humanity, both the scattered on the continents than the one that lives next to us.
Among the signs of the times we see the fog of religious indifference, the cold wind of rejection of others because of the color of their skin, their different language, etc... They are signs that challenge us and if we have the kingdom of God at heart, we know how to see the possibilities that this time offers for its diffusion, which are different from those of the times that preceded it. As always, God wants the salvation of all men and tirelessly urges the hearts that love him, that trust in him, to seek new means to spread his kingdom of love.
Let us ask Jesus to give us the discernment that comes from the heart, to live in our time in a manner worthy of our vocation. In humility, in charity, in meekness we must today find the means to make known to everyone the love of God, his goodness, his mercy and thus spread his kingdom, the kingdom of Christ, so that the desire can be realized quickly. of God: everyone, men and women, be happy to live and come to bless the author of life. I pray and would like the sentiment of a black man, committed to alleviating the miseries of the world, to echo in everyone's souls, when he expressed his happiness by saying: «I am happy from dawn to night, for the gift of singing, for the time, becoming and pain [...] I am happy for my heart with the doors opened, they are the passage of wonders where dreams enter from the tumult and the roar like the flock into the sheepfold due to the rains and thunders".
May the God of life be a source of serenity, joy and perennial wonder for everyone.
