In January, an unexpected need arose for a family member of mine: he had lost his job due to the crisis.
Questions and searches for a positive solution to the problem seemed fruitless.
So I began the recitation of the Sacred Mantle with fervor; now an opportunity has arisen that seems good and hopefully long-lasting.
I promised a "day of bread" for your clients and also that I would report the positive conclusion of this affair. it is true, as Saint Teresa of Avila wrote that "whatever grace is asked of Saint Joseph will certainly be granted".
Continuing with the prayer of thanks and always asking for his protection, I renew my great trust in the putative Father of the Redeemer and I entrust myself and my loved ones to your prayers.
Marisa (Cologna Veneta)
Dear Mrs Marisa,
It gives me joy to respond to your letter because it helps me breathe this constant presence of God in our lives. God walks beside us like a shadow at our side, he walks helping us to combine our events with the daily realities of life: sometimes the days pass in a splendid way, other times, we pant for an uphill journey because the path is not according to the our way of seeing; the paternal presence of God does not abandon us; the moment of discomfort can be an opportunity to help us discover positive resources hidden in the folds of life. We must not pretend to force God to always do what we want. God is the God of life, his words, his suggestions are paths to help us think about planning our daily living in the style of Jesus' own life. Despite being the son of God, Jesus did not erase the adversities in his daily life but he experienced them as an invitation to enter more intimately into a divine will always projected towards the creation of a climate of shared brotherhood. Saint Joseph entered into this climate of familiarity and there he found the strength to bet his own life for the good of humanity.
May Saint Joseph obtain for us a supplement of faith and courage to trust in the God of life.
The beneficent hand of Saint Joseph
Most Reverend Father Director,
I am sending you this offering of mine as a grace received from Saint Joseph for my daughter, who in the month of August was told that she had a bad illness. From that day on I have never stopped praying to Saint Joseph and my dear deceased parents, so that I help for this daughter of mine.
After many months of tests and surgery we received good news, that the biopsy they did came out clean with no trace of cancer.
I thank Saint Joseph again with all my heart.
A cordial greeting, may God bless you today and always.
Lucrezia Chiaravalle (Canada)
Esteemed and blessed Lady Lucrezia,
good news fills the soul with joy even of those who share anxieties and hopes. We believers are supported by the certainty witnessed by the great devotee of Saint Joseph, Saint Teresa of Avila who guaranteed that "God loves us more than we love ourselves" and Teresa had experienced this affirmation many times. It is undeniable that a person who prays has greater confidence in himself and in God. Prayer is a supplement to our spiritual life. Prayer is not linked to the words spoken, but it is certain that effective prayer is a gift that is obtained by praying.
