The apparent sunset Saint Joseph invades him with the lights of dawn

Dear Don Mario,

It is with great relief that I write to you after months of suffering from an annoying and often distressing psychophysical depression. Medicines and psychotherapy sessions produced no effect.

In a moment of relief, strong and confident, I turned to Saint Joseph and began the Novena in his honor.

Even though I didn't immediately see any light of improvement, I was not discouraged and continued to pray.

After insistent prayers, the horizon of mental well-being finally opened up to me.

This is why I feel like sharing the joy of a newfound contentment. I assure you to continue to cultivate gratitude towards Saint Joseph, our protector.

Teresa Fattorini – Genoa

Dear Mrs Teresa,

the saint whose name and protection she bears, Saint Teresa of Avila, was able to write from her experience that "whatever grace is asked of Saint Joseph will certainly be granted".

«Sometimes – Pope Francis said one day – Saint Joseph is like the carpenter who, when called for some repairs at home, immediately says yes, but then makes himself wait. This is how Saint Joseph is, but he always arrives." He does not fail to speak and only he knows the appropriate times to intervene." In the meantime, however, he does not remain indifferent, he gives us mysterious spiritual supplements capable of keeping hope constant. And this hope does not disappoint.

Saint Joseph, faithful friend until the end of his life

Esteemed director,

I am writing to you to testify to a great grace attributed to the intercession of Saint Joseph. In the month of November, my old grandfather, who had lived far from religious practices for many years, made us fear for his life: his years, ailments and illness did not leave much hope for good.

Concerned about the salvation of his soul too, I began a novena to the great Saint Joseph especially for his spiritual healing.

Shortly before the novena ended, my grandfather was reconciled with God and Saint Joseph calmly accompanied him to the end of his life.

Gina Volpi – Bergamo

Dear Mrs Gina,

I am happy that your old grandfather found a lifeboat in time to cross to the shore of eternity wrapped in the mercy of the Father.

Even without knowing their names, the members of the Pious Union constantly pray to Saint Joseph to accompany our brothers and sisters towards the joyful embrace with the Father of mercy.

Let us enroll our grandfather in perpetual suffrage and so every day in the Holy Mass we will knock on the door of divine mercy for a bright eternity for our dearly departed.

With work, Saint Joseph restores dignity to the person

Dear Director,

for a few months my husband and my children, due to particular situations, remained unemployed. The poverty was great and work could not be found, like a beggar I turned to Saint Joseph to provide in some way. After days of prayer my husband received a good job order. With a grateful soul I also entrust myself to the prayers of good people devoted to Saint Joseph so that, as a father, he truly provides for our needs.

I greet you and I entrust myself to your prayers.

Signed letter – Potenza

Dear Associate,

It is always a joy to read letters in which they tell us good news. His letter is among these: it gives us hope and confidence in the future in times of work crisis like in our times.

The strong message from his communication is an invitation not to lose faith in oneself and in divine Providence which disposes the steps of our life for good. Life has tiring moments, like when the pace becomes labored, the horizon darkens, dark perspectives imprison us in fear and despondency.

Especially in these moments we need a supplement of hope to redeem ourselves in the awareness that in life we are never orphans, God walks beside us always ready to throw us lifeboats so as not to drown in the grip of fear.
