Saint Joseph accompanies us every day in all needs
CDear Father Director, on this day dedicated to the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and tomorrow to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and next week to the Most Chaste Heart of Saint Joseph,
Together with this letter I send you the offer for the celebration of a Mass according to these intentions: 1) in thanksgiving for the graces obtained; 2) for the protection of the family and especially of my nephew. Thanks to Saint Joseph who accompanies us every day in all our spiritual needs and in conversion. Thanks to Saint Joseph for providing for my needs and the maintenance of my home. I entrust you with my health, the work of my loved ones. In union of prayers.
Jacqueline, France.
The heart, in our usual language, represents the ability to love. If the heart is chaste, love will be without selfishness. This was the case of Saint Joseph, who loved Jesus and Mary in a unique way. And with them he continues to love us too. For this reason it is very beautiful that you remember him and know how to entrust yourself with sincere faith to the protection of our great Saint. I assure you of the celebration of the Holy Mass according to his intentions, also enriched by the fact that the offerings for the Masses in our Pious Union become a means of support for our charitable works. Continue to entrust the needs of your loved ones to Saint Joseph with full trust, with the certainty that made Saint Teresa of Avila declare: "I don't remember until now having ever prayed to him for a grace without immediately obtaining it."

I took it upon myself to subscribe my friend
CDear all of the Pious Union of Saint Joseph, I want to thank you with all my heart. I receive the much-loved magazine, the calendar, the greetings for my name day on time and, when I ask you for some favor, you are always ready and available to everyone. My granddaughter and her family are grateful for her Blessing on the occasion of her First Communion: you don't know what joy they had! Now I want to ask you a favor: a friend of mine, elderly like me, wants to subscribe to the Holy Crusade and she doesn't know how to do it; I took on the task and I'll send you her address. Please make her happy; she is a very religious person. I personally send you my small offering; you like the thought! In the month of February I followed the Holy Mass celebrated in the Basilica of Saint Joseph: it was an immense joy! Thanks to TV2000 which makes us feel closer to all of you and to Italy.

The Pious Union is a large family that extends from Italy to Australia. We here in Rome do everything we can to encourage our Members and keep them connected, but this would be little if there weren't people like you, who involve family members in the devotion to Saint Joseph and in the spread of the Holy Crusade. We call them "zealot men and women" and their commitment is precious and blessed. We hope then that there will be many who help us to keep this family large and alive which invokes Saint Joseph as its patron, and spreads devotion, prays for families, for the Church, for the dying.

A letter is a gesture of tenderness
CDear Father Director, I am writing this letter to thank you for the happy name day wishes you send me every year. Your greeting cards are very dear, in the name of Saint Joseph, with the protection written for me and my family. I also sent you an email, but I decided to write in the traditional way by taking pen and paper. It's nice to write, even though it's a method that few people use anymore. I know that receiving a letter is a gesture of tenderness. Thank you for sending the magazine monthly The Holy Crusade in honor of Saint Joseph. There are always many interesting articles that help you improve. I'm happy when you update us on your projects for the less fortunate; so I feel more reassured that my offer has been of help to you, together with that of all the other members of the Pious Union. May Saint Joseph be our guide and our support on the journey of life.

It is beautiful what you write about letters that express tenderness. And there are many people who thank us for the happy name day cards and also for the letters we send on the anniversaries of the dearly departed. If this serves to sow a little tenderness, the time spent is not wasted. Just as the time dedicated to the processing is not wasted The Holy Crusade because we are told that reading its pages is useful and comforting. You respond to us with your prayers (this is the first aim of the Pious Union of Saint Joseph!) but also with your always generous offerings. We use them to help the poor. As you noted, this year we have committed ourselves to supporting the construction of the Casa Sfântul Alois Guanella in Iași (Romania), which is definitely progressing towards completion. Also in this issue there is an article by the Guanellian Father Bakthiswalagan which informs about the progress of the work and the assistance projects. We hope that the friends of the Pia Unione will continue to send us offers to tackle such a large undertaking.
