The Trieste event wasn't just an event. For many young people under 35, the 50th Social Week sparked a fundamental question: what now? How do we bring that desire to be present into everyday life, when the spotlight fades? The event in Rome on April 11th and 12th was born to address this need. It's not simply a seminar: "An Unarmed Heart for Democracy" aims to be a laboratory of hope, a moment to pause and look into each other's eyes, dedicated to those who began that journey in Trieste. The starting point is a feeling we all know, often suffocating. We open social media, read the news, and the world seems to collapse around us: distant wars, global crises, enormous injustices.
The Second European Report on the State of Health Equity (HESRi2) will be presented in Rome on March 18, as part of the event “Who is my neighbor today,” organized by the Council of European Bishops' Conferences (CCEE), the Italian Bishops' Conference (CEI), and the World Health Organization (WHO).
