Illustrated calendar 2016 thinking about migrants

The traditional calendar of the Pious Union of Saint Joseph for the year 2016 set out with Jesus, Joseph and Mary along the roads of their pilgrimage towards Egypt, to escape persecution and the threat of death from Herod, jealous of his role as undisputed king.
The project is original as it follows the narrative of the apocryphal gospels which narrate the custody, courage and dedication of Joseph who, to protect his wife Mary and his son Jesus, ventures along unknown tracks in the desert. The calendar illustrates some episodes of Jesus' childhood with the delicacy of the colors and shapes of the painter Alfredo Brasioli.
The calendar can be purchased with an offer that will be used to host migrants in the European houses of the Don Guanella Work in Italy, Spain, Germany and Poland.

After one hundred years of history it is necessary to turn to the past

“Each community must celebrate its anniversaries, re-read its history and give thanks for the way in which God has watched over them over the years.” In this memory "we find the hope and courage we need to face new risks and accept difficulties and suffering with courage and perseverance". These words were written by Jean Vanier, a great friend of the poor, founder and animator of many homes of charity, called "arche" in French, for disabled people. 
After one hundred years of history, the Primary Pious Union of the Transit of San Giuseppe also wanted to reread its history, find the great reasons for praise and thanksgiving to God for the good done and also revisit the roots of hope to draw on lifeblood capable of bearing fruit and offer reasons for hope in our sometimes turbulent and forgetful days.
